Courage Over Cunning: Confronting Weakness in Society

Chapter 1: Understanding Cunning and Weakness
In society, cunning individuals represent dishonesty, hypocrisy, and exploitation. Their manipulative tactics are not necessary for personal advancement; in fact, they are deeply unethical.
"Cunning people are a reflection of what we may become if we lose our values."
Additionally, weak individuals often provoke frustration. You may wonder why one would disdain those who appear fragile and in need of support. The truth is, while they may require assistance, they can also be dangerous. A quote I recently encountered states, “You think strong people are hazardous? Wait until you observe what weak individuals are capable of.” This resonates with me.
Weak individuals frequently struggle with low self-esteem and insecurity. They seek security at all costs and are likely to attract the attention of cunning manipulators who exploit their vulnerabilities.
Consider the Me Too movement, which revealed widespread exploitation. Many women remained silent during their mistreatment, driven by a desire for career advancement or favors. Once those opportunities vanished, they exposed their abusers, seeking validation and attention. While I empathize with their plight, it is essential to acknowledge that they inadvertently fueled the ongoing cycle of abuse.
Similarly, platforms like Instagram are rife with narcissism. Users proclaim to have the "best husband in the world" while remaining trapped in toxic relationships, lacking the courage to reveal their reality.
Recently, I penned an article addressing my father-in-law's actions that disrupted family harmony. This chaos could have been avoided had his insecure brother resisted manipulation. Furthermore, celebrities endorsing harmful products in media illustrate this point. They promote toxic grooming items for monetary gain, oblivious to the long-term health risks, including cancer and infertility.
It is crucial to avoid weakness and guard against insecurity. Otherwise, you may find yourself contributing to your own downfall and that of others.
“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.” — Maya Angelou
