It should have been clear that some random individual on Medium wasn't truly making Seinfeld-level income in just three months.

Let’s be honest:

Fast money doesn’t exist.

Easy money is a myth.

If someone claims you can earn $11,550 a month just by reading their article or purchasing their online course, they’re misleading you.

The reality is that they want to profit from you.

In essence —

YOU are the commodity in their get-rich-quick narrative.

The truth is stark.

Most writers on Medium earn between $0 and $10 monthly.

Not quite the $17,755 monthly income they promised, right? It’s disheartening, I know. I apologize for being the bearer of bad news.

Sadly, this kind of misleading content has become rampant online, fostering unrealistic expectations.

I’m not suggesting you can’t earn a decent income on Medium or any platform, but it will not be quick, nor will it be effortless.

You can’t escape the equation of time and effort.

There’s a vital principle to grasp when it comes to making money on Medium:

To succeed, you must produce a substantial number of articles consistently.

Why, you ask?

Consider Newton's Third Law of Motion:

“For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

In simpler terms, you cannot create momentum without expending energy.

Action leads to reaction.

If you want to excel at biking, what must you do?

You need to practice riding.

Sure, you could read a few excellent books on the subject, but without physical practice, the knowledge is ineffective.

It’s perfectly fine to practice more and read less.

Don’t just skim their books; analyze the steps they took to achieve their success.

Remember to invest your time.

Put in the effort.

Pursue your aspirations.
